El Gato depends on donations to supplement meeting the cats’ needs. Such needs include food, litter, vetting costs, incremental rent & overhead costs to shelter, staffing for the care of the cats, and other supplies and toys for enriching the lives of the cats. We offer tax-exempt donations, eligible for company matches, which not only secure the future of the cat cafe, but also allow us to make a bigger imprint on the cat community of Houston through increasing our TNR efforts, education efforts and rescue efforts, as well as making even more contributions to our rescue partners. When you donate, you will receive your tax deductible donation receipt through email.
