At El Gato, you can meet our resident cats and kittens in a peaceful, living-room-like setting. This allows you to pick out the cat you best bond with.
This process reduces the chances of gatos being returned. As such, we only process applications for folks who have visited with us and have selected a cat or kitten. You can apply to adopt in advance of your visit if you have a scheduled session with us. Book your session here.

The adoption fee is $95. Once approved, you’ll have a 7-day trial period, or “sleepover”, to ensure the cat is a good fit for your home.
After applying, please keep an eye on your inbox, as one of hour adoption coordinators will contact you by email to set up a phone interview.
